Sponsored by the U.S. Institute of Peace (USIP), AFSA seeks to challenge students of secondary education to ponder on the role of U.S. diplomacy with other countries around the world as to build a more solid understanding on its nature and motive as it advances national security and economic prosperity.
AFSA’s National High School Essay Contest is an annually held event, its deadline falling on April 06, 2021. An essay topic will be provided each year, and the total word count of the final essay should be 1,000-1,250.
