John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum is dedicated to the memory of US’s 35 th president, John F. Kennedy, and to all the others in seeking to preserve and honor his great political feats. JFK Contest is annually held to encourage students to be cognizant of some of the great accomplishments made by great leaders in American politics as well as to be analytical and critical about the facts and interpretations associated with events and affairs during the early 20th of American politics.
Each essay submission should strictly adhere to the contest guidelines, not exceeding 1,000 words but longer than 700 words. Moreover, it needs to have, at least, five sources and should “describe an act of political courage by a U.S. elected official who served during or after 1917, the year John F. Kennedy was born.
