The Sigma Delta Chi Foundation of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) and the Journalism Education Association (JEA) encourage students of secondary education in the U.S. to participate in a renowned essay competition on journalism, annually held in spring.
The topic for an upcoming competition (Spring 2021) will be provided in TBD. The deadline for submissions is TBD. Essay submissions should be 300-500 words and double-spaced. Cash prizes are awarded to first, second and third places. Check out here to find out about the SPJ/JEA in great detail.
